The First Appraisal Book - Finally Done By Susan R. Stoltz

It’s finally done.  The Part Time Thief and Other Appraisal Stories.  This first volume of appraiser stories has gone to press.  Wow – what a great feeling and a long process.  I can’t wait to have the first book in my hands.  If all goes as planned it should be available by the third week of September.

This first compendium of stories runs the gamut of emotions.  Some of the stories were dangerous, others funny.  A few very touching.  Writing memoirs is an interesting process.  For me as I began to go through each adventure I had, more detail came back to my fading 50+ memory and more stories came to light.

What became clear to me while putting this book together was that there had to be many more appraisers out there with stories like mine.  So I began to contact a few, and lo and behold, another book is on the way.  Many more appraisers contributed to this second book to be called Ferrets, Ferrets Everywhere and Other Appraisal Stories.  It includes adventures from appraisers in Minnesota, Arizona, Texas and California.

I hope you enjoy this first book.  It certainly gives an interesting perspective into the life, risks and adventures in the average life of an appraiser.
